Alpine Self Storage 2008 Improvements

We are pleased to announce  that during the months of September and October, 2008, Alpine Self Storage is undergoing some property upgrades!  We are excited about the improvements and would like to share our plans with you!
 
 
The planned improvements are as follows:
 
1.  Fresh - Painting of upper A & B building hallways, including ceilings, walls, trim and floor
 
2.  Installation of new, bright, flourescent energy efficient hallway ceiling lighting of upper A & B building
 
3.  Fresh - Painting of stairs of A and B buildings
 
4.  Roofing upgrades on all buildings to enhance the already solid roofing systems
 
5.  Buildings J & M cinder block metal cap installation, providing extended protection to cinder blocks and buildings
 
6.  Installation of new soffit system, gutters, downspouts  and upgraded heat tape for the north side of buildings J & M to help better maintain moisture, including snow and ice accumulation
 
7.  Increased exterior lighting on the north side of J building for your after-hour convenience
 
8.  Asphalt patching and crackfilling, to protect and prolong the life of the asphalt and improve the appearance
 
 
Although these projects are being carefully planned to lessen any impact of your use of your space and the property, we realize contractors will be working diligently during daylight hours, up to 7 days per week to try and finish the projects as quickly as possible before the snow flies.  It is our goal to continue to provide easy access to your space at all times.  However, the reality is that you may be inconvenienced at some point.  If you arrive to your space, you might find a contractor and tools temporarily blocking access to your space.  This temporary inconvenience can be corrected quickly by contacting a nearby contractor who will be more than willing to move any items, clearing access for you, or by contacting a staff member on site or by calling (970) 328-6311 during office hours.   
 
IMPORTANT!
 
 
Customers renting space in upper A or B buildings only: 
 
One project that will block access to your space will be the final coat of fresh paint to be applied to the floor of upper A & B buildings.  The final paint coat is scheduled to be applied on Wednesday & Thursday, September 24th & 25th (weather permitting) between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm.  Please be aware you will not have access to your space for these two days.  Please do plan on this project, and not being able to access your space on those two days.
 
If weather conditions prohibit the upper A & B painting project to be completed as planned on September 24th & 25th, we will then have to go to plan "B" and paint those floors on the next weather permitting day.  We'll evaluate on a day to day basis, beginning September 26th and on.    Because of this one "unknown", it is a good idea for you to contact our office ahead of time to learn the update to the upper A & B Floor Painting Project.  We will post updates to this webpage, as well, for your real time convenience.
 
We are asking for your patience through this Improvement Process.  We urge you to contact us about any specific conerns you have regarding the Projects.

UPDATE
 September 25th, 9 am
 
Currently, there are no access restrictions!  You are able to visit your storage space whenever you like!
 
The contractors were able to paint the final coat on the hallway floors today.  It appears there will be some areas that will need to be touched up/repaired.  We will not know until Monday, September 29th how this will affect access.  Please contact our office or follow up on this site for more details on potential future access restrictions.  We do not anticipate actual access restrictions, but won't know for sure until the end of the day on September 29th.  We will post the update here on that date.
